Sometimes, it’s a sad, sad day living in Central New Jersey. Why? NO CHEVY’s for MILES. NOT ONE. The last time I ate at a Chevy’s was in Orlando, Florida. What’s so special about Chevy’s? Aside from their BOSS steak taco salad and chicken flautas, Chevy’s has the absolute best salsa I’ve ever tasted. I’m not sure if it’s the smokey spice or how deliciously cold it’s served, but at the end of the day it’s FREAKING DELICIOUS. When I came across this recipe I actually squealed with happiness. Easy-peasy, quick recipe today. All you need is some fruit, cinnamon, and a blender!
Paleo-Friendly Meals: Raw Applesauce

Ingredients
- 2 apples
- 1 ripe banana
- 4 dates
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Core and peel the apples. Slice in quarters.
- Add the remainder of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Refrigerate before serving.
- Enjoy!

Aloha! It’s been a while since my last post, and for that I apologize! I can explain though… I’ve been absolutely EXHAUSTED! Between working, getting up early and going to bed early, and squeezing every available moment out of my weekends to feel like I am simultaneously accomplishing important things and having fun, I’m shocked I have time to eat let alone plan a weekly Paleo menu!
