Sorry I’ve been so absent lately, but December has come and gone like a whirlwind of insanity. Between shopping, decorating, wrapping, cooking, visiting family, and trying to make the most of my off time – I got lost in the busyness of the season and it ended too soon. So to bring you up to speed on my December, here’s a short review in pictures

Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, NYC

Our fabulous, eclectic Christmas tree

My favorite ornament, of course! We bought this at the Dole Cannery when I was in Waikiki to present my thesis at the Hawaiian International Conference

Sasha, helping untangle the Christmas lights

I am totally helping.

Maybe it will help if I eat them.

Doesn’t taste very good…

Why are the lights moving!?

I’m going to go inside the lights.

I am so fab-u-lous

FAB-U-LOUS!

Sasha – in the Christmas lights

Sophia, captivated by the idea of ornaments hanging on low branches

More consideration of ornament consumption

Yupp, edible.

Sasha sitting pretty on the tree skirt. Of course I couldn’t resist the opportunity for a photo shoot.

Why is this bear touching me?

Now there are two bears touching me…

This is the worst day.

Why are you torturing me like this?!

…

HELP ME

Disgusted by the degenerate company of these bears.

Begrudgingly posing with bears

Only slightly irritated

Maybe I can escape that way.

Oh, I saw what you did with Sasha. Don’t even try it.

Or I will eat the bear.

Spending time with friends in NYC

Boyfriend and I in NYC

Caught texting at the table… busted!

The construction of a sweet cubicle castle.

And a fancy cat tree for the most spoiled cats around.

General happiness for being alive

Spending lots of time with this guy <3

More sashimi

And, nothing is complete without neurotically written Christmas cards!
Mahalo for stopping by and talk to you in the new year! Aloha!
